Want to know when to lob and when to come to the net? Lynn Bybee, our tennis pro, is offering a doubles workshop on Monday, May 25, from 10 to 12. This is a great opportunity to focus on doubles strategies and examine good shot selection against various formations. The cost is $20 per person. We’ll have some social time and eats following. Maybe even pool time! Call/email Lynn at lynnandmelissa@verizon.net (516-5096) or Sara Brown at sarabrown123@verizon.net (405-7171)

April 28th-
We had our 1st Tennis Social of the season on Sunday, April 26, with a nice turnout for World Team Tennis. We pitted the “Ringers” (or is that “Wringers”?) against the “Annihilators” under the capable leadership of our new tennis pro, Lynn Bybee. Probably the biggest bone of contention for the whole day was how to spell ‘annihilator’, but now we know! We also had a nice group for our Happy Hour and potluck dinner. Next month we are hosted by Anita and Deane Kimball on Sunday, May 17th, so mark your calendars.
BTW—We had no idea that insults came so naturally to Laurie Huizenga—and she seems like such a nice person. Apparently rabid competition brings out a side to people that we don’t always witness…..
