Chess Club, Ages 8 & Up
Will Ericson returns this summer to host a chess club for all chess enthusiasts. He will teach basic skills to new players and more advanced skills to players with experience. Mostly, though, this hour is about enjoying a little friendly chess competition! No charge, but please register in the office.

Summer Book Clubs, All Ages
There’s something for everyone at this summer’s book club. Books can be listened to or read, but kids need to be ready to share at least one idea. We’ll include crafts for the younger kids. Snacks provided; bring a drink. Free. (Don’t miss our adult book club! See p. 14.)

Take Home a Terrarium, Ages 5--9
Sharon Baum’s great two-day workshop returns! Children will decorate and create their own miniature landscape. 12 participants. $40 per clinic.

LEGO Mindstorms/Robotics, Ages 10 & Up
Come explore LEGO Mindstorms and robotics with Dell Hudgins. Dell will have one LEGO Mindstorm NXT and a laptop for playful programming. Bring your own equipment to ramp up the challenge. Fun, friendly and free.
